First of all, there are almost endless attractions in New Zealand. Some of New Zealand attractions can be found on the North Island, some on the South Island of New Zealand.
The City of Auckland and the capital of New Zealand Wellington are the main attractions when it comes to cities. One of the biggest vacation attractions is the area of the Bay of Islands, you can not miss to go swimming with dolphins or to go on a sailing trip. Further north along the west coast you find 90 mile beach and on the top of the island the most northern attraction Cape Reinga. Roughly in the middle you find Rotorua - no doubt, it is the center of New Zealand attractions with geothermal areas with mud pools and geysers. On the South Island you can find at least as many New Zealand Attractions, many of them are more nature related, here are some of them:
The amazing vacations spots in Marlborough Sounds and Abel Tasman National Park with endless beaches and great kayaking opportunities, the beautiful scenery along the Kaikoura coastline and the Kaikoura Peninsula and the rich wildlife experience with whale watching sperm whales and dolphins close to the coast. Other big tourist attractions on the South Island of New Zealand are around the Southern Alps, a huge mountain range. Along the famous and rugged west coast you need to visit attractions like the Pancake Rocks and the glaciers of Westland National Park which are reaching into the rainforest and almost all the way to the sea. Further south you can find the Kingston Flyer Steam Train, Queenstown the activity center and pure nature in Fiordland National Park. The very south of the southern island offers great wildlife attractions especially in The Catlins, seals, sea lions and penguins, just to mention a few. Further north along the east coast you find Christchurch, the biggest city on the South Island and an attraction by itself. Close to it you also find the Banks Peninsula which is another great vacation spot. These are only ideas for New Zealand attractions, we will show you some more very soon.
